Cupping Profile: Harrar is best noted as drinking a cup of chocolate covered blueberries and this coffee is no exception. Full in body and flavors of dark chocolate and blueberry, this cup will amaze you and is complemented beautifully with a favorite chocolate dessert.

Additional Notes On This Coffee

Passionate Harvest and Dominion Trading Company (DTC) are the importers and have been personally involved with the Ethiopian coffee farmers and their communities for 11 years. Over that time, they have built relationships with thousands of farmers, numerous processors, coffee and governmental officials. Prior to the Government mandated Ethiopian Commodities exchange in 2009, DTC was directly involved in the Kebede Koomsa washing plant in Yirgacheffe and directly exported their coffee to the USA. During that time this facility become known as leader in quality, transparency, traceability, environmental safe guards/remediation and community involvement. Through the profits of DTC, it’s USA based non-profit ministry partner, New Covenant Foundation, has ministered to people in over 400 Ethiopian communities. The ministry focuses on 1) supporting indigenous church planters who share Jesus Christ, disciple new believers and plant new churches and 2) supporting Ethiopian led community health education to over 750,000 people to-date. This program covers a broad base of subjects from maternal and child care to HIV-AIDS, nutrition, water purification, sanitation, micro-business, women’s cycle of life and people with disabilities.
